The Coromandel

Coromandel accommodation puts baches and beach houses within reach of Whitianga, Whangamatā, Thames and Pauanui on the peninsula’s two coasts.

The east coast carries the famous names: Hot Water Beach’s thermal sand, Cathedral Cove reached on foot or by boat, and estuary mornings at Pauanui and Tairua. The west side runs quieter, with Thames’ heritage streets, pōhutukawa hanging over the Thames Coast road, and the Karangahake Gorge’s walkways at the southern hinge.
