Pukehina

Pukehina accommodation runs along a single road behind the dunes, forty minutes east of Tauranga. There is no town centre, just baches, the beach and the water behind.

Days go on surfcasting off the sand, launching a boat at the estuary mouth, or walking until you feel like turning around. Out of season the road is very quiet, and that is the point of the place.
