Bowentown

Bowentown sits where Waihi Beach meets the entrance to Tauranga Harbour, and its accommodation has surf on one side and sheltered water on the other.

Baches and beach houses sit back from the sand on quiet streets. Anzac Bay gives children calm swimming inside the heads, the track over Bowentown Heads climbs past an old pā site to wide harbour views, and the long beach leads back to the Waihi Beach shops.
