Waikawa

Waikawa is a sheltered bay on Queen Charlotte Sound, and its accommodation looks out over the marina and bush-covered hills.

Holiday homes here are a short drive round the coast from Picton, near enough for the ferry but removed from its bustle. Boats moored in the bay make this an easy base for days out on the Sounds, and native bush runs right down to the shoreline.
