Taupō
Taupō accommodation stands on the shore of New Zealand’s largest lake, with holiday homes and baches close to the water. Kayak out to the Māori rock carvings at Mine Bay, or soak at Spa Park, where a hot stream runs into the Waikato River. The Great Lake Trail rides above the quiet western bays.
