Perfect Pohara Holiday Stay
A quiet and peaceful place to get away fom the stress of everyday life. Set on a back section, this bach is well laid out for even flow throughout.
The master bedroom with ensuite and dressing room is at one end of the house off the lounge, the second bedroom and twin single are at the other end.
The living space is open plan with a lounge at each end, one for entertainment, the other to relax, and the dining table is in the middle, opposite the large fully equipped kitchen. There is a BBQ area on the deck through french doors from the second lounge.
The main bathroom is down the hall before the 2 end bedrooms.
Kitchen & Dining
Large fully equipped kitchen with 4 pot glass induction plate, oven, rangehood, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster, electic hand mixer, coffee and tea plunger, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
All pots, pans, frypans, cutlery, glasses, dinnerwear, platters, utensils, washing powder/liquid/tablets etc supplied.
Large counter space for easy use with double sink.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with queen bed, dressing room and full ensuite. Bedside tables with lamps and drawers.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed with bedside tables and lamps, tallboy and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: Two single beds with bedside table with drawers and lamp between, tallboy. Also has toys, books and puzzles for children.
Beds will be made up to suit your requirments, ready for you on arrival.
Bathrooms
Ensuite: Toilet, handbasin, heated towel rail, and large shower cubicle.
Main bathroom: Toilet, vanity, heated towel rail, and shower cubicle.
Outdoor Areas
BBQ area on the deck accessed from french doors in lounge, deck extends around front to entrance door. Lawn both front and back of house, and gardens along front and fenceline.
There is a bench seat near the entrance, a place to enjoy the sun.
Good sized parking area for boat and vehicle.
Nearby
Pohara Beach is 2-3 minutes easy walk away, accessed through the Pohara Top 10 Holiday Park, for swimming and walks. There is also a playground at the end of the camp, and a store on the corner.
Molly B’s restarant is also only 2 minutes away, and just down the road Is Ratanui Lodge or Nikau Cafe & Bar.
Attractions in the area are numerous: Wainui Falls, Farewell Spit, Labyrinth Rocks, The Grove Scenic Reserve, Anatoki Salmon, Wharariki Beach, Te Waikoropupu Springs ~ the largest cold water spring in the southern hemisphere, and Ngarua caves to name a few.
Safety Features
Smoke alarms at each end of the house, and fire extinguisher in the kitchen, by the back door.
House Rules
No smoking in the house, and no pets, as owners are allergic.
No parties or loud music, please respect our neighbours.
Check out times MUST be observed, so set up for new guests can be enabled in a timely manner.
The whole house MUST be cleaned thoroughly before checking out. This includes oven, bathrooms, floors mopped/vacuumed, all surfaces wiped and dried. We expect you to leave the house as you found it.
If you wish us to clean for you, please check this option when booking.
Put towels in hampers or on bathroom floors when leaving, and turn off towel rails. Beds do not need to be stripped, leave them as they are, we will attend to all laundry items. This is included in the linen & laundry fee.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 30 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 30 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
