The heart of the home is the open living area, which features wide bi-fold doors that connect the indoors with a large deck. Outside, this expansive timber area is designed for socialising and taking in the panoramic views. You can sit at the timber bar counter with a cool drink, cook on the outdoor fireplace, or gather around the dining table under the shade of the umbrella while surrounded by native ferns.
Water lovers will appreciate the wooden jetty that reaches into the clear water, offering an ideal spot to launch adventures. The property includes three kayaks, with two adult sizes and one child size, perfect for exploring the calm bays. With Two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a Bunk room that sleeps 7 the bach easily accommodates up to eight guests across eight beds. There is also an outdoor cabin. On cooler evenings or rainy days, the dedicated games room provides a great space for indoor entertainment, offering fun for all ages.

The indoor living area flows directly to outdoor dining options on the generous deck. You can enjoy meals at the wooden dining table or gather around the high timber bar counter overlooking the water.
Bedrooms
There are 2 good sized double bed rooms that share an ensuite. The Bunk room has 6 bunks in it as well as a single Bed. Out the back there is a cabin with a double bed in it
Bathrooms
The property offers two bathrooms to service your group during your lakeside stay. There is also a practical outdoor shower, which is ideal for washing off lake water after a morning swim.

For a relaxing soak, the famous Lake Rotoiti Hot Pools (also known as the Lake Rotoiti Hot Springs) are only a 5-minute boat trip away, offering a truly magical thermal experience accessible only by water. If you’re keen to explore on foot, a short 5-minute drive will bring you to the spectacular Okere Falls, where you can watch rafters plunge over the rapids or enjoy a scenic forest walk.

House Rules
If the power is not on, the power-board is located downstairs in the garage on the wall backing onto the stairwell. The 3 red switches need to all be up to have power. If using the outside cabin there is another power switch to the right of the main power board
Please be careful with the pool table and dart board especially young children. As you can see we have had quite a few holes put in the wall and on the floor from darts going astray. Same with the Pool table, with marks on the table and ceiling.
We are on tank water, and we must keep a close eye on usage. Please use with the Everyday Wash or 15min Quick Cycle on the washing machine and to keep showers short and sweet to conserve. We have had water indicators installed in the tanks so that you can see the water level without having to lift the lids. Please if you can keep an eye on that, especially in summer when water is scarce.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 30 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 30 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
