Moana

Moana accommodation lines the northern shore of Lake Brunner, a village of baches and cottages around a jetty and a boat ramp.

Mount Te Kinga rises off the far end of the lake, and a track climbs it for anyone wanting the whole lake in one view. The Arnold River leaves the lake at the village edge, crossed by a swing bridge on a short rainforest walk. The lake’s other name is Moana Kōtuku, after the white heron.
