Fox River

Fox River accommodation sits on the Paparoa coast between Punakaiki and Charleston, with baches a short walk from the beach and the river mouth.

The river runs inland to limestone caves and a section of the Inland Pack Track, and Woodpecker Bay is just south along the highway. Some places here run off-grid on their own power. Nights are dark, the surf is loud, and Paparoa National Park starts behind the road.
