This authentic Kiwi bach has remained largely unchanged since the mid-last century, preserving a rustic charm that is rare to find today. Loaded with character and unique features, the cosy interior easily accommodates up to four guests across two comfortable bedrooms and one bathroom with a great shower. During the cooler winter months, a traditional fire keeps the entire space wonderfully warm, with dry firewood provided for your stay. An electric heater is also on hand year-round to ensure comfort.

While the setting feels wonderfully isolated, you can still enjoy modern conveniences. The property features fast, unlimited WiFi alongside reliable 4G mobile reception, making it easy to share your holiday adventures. Please note that the water is sourced from a local stream and filtered, but otherwise untreated, so you may wish to bring bottled water for drinking. Since the closest shops and petrol stations are a thirty-minute drive north to Westport or forty-five minutes south to Greymouth, we advise stocking up on all food and travel supplies before your arrival.
