Stay With Us
Our camping huts and fully self-contained camping spots are designed for those who love an old-fashioned holiday, without modern tech, and immersed in nature. The Hidden Hamlet is a perfect exclusive family or small group stay, with two huts to sleep up to 7 guests, options to add tents i the Hamlet, and fully self-contained campervans for a larger group are welcome at the bottom of the farm.
A do-it-yourself, affordable option: stay in our huts rather than under canvas. Are you traveling light? Upgrade your package by hiring bedding, camping equipment, gas bottles, and more on arrival, or pre-order, and we can have it all ready for you.
Settlers Hut sleeps 2 people in a single bunk. You can book our 1st Hut Pioneer for exclusivity. This also means you can add tents for a larger group.

Overview: Kitchenette with basic pots, Pans, and utensils. Cooking ring (Gas Bottle Hire). Kitchen Table sits 2. Sink with cold running water.
Bedroom: 1 room with one single bunk bed, overlooking the Tasman Sea and mountain views. We provide the bottom sheet, pillow, and pillowcase. A sleeping bag and bath towel bundle can be hired for those travelling light. A small dining area and open deck have a table for 2 people to play board games, journal writing, or simply sit and enjoy the sunrise.
Bathroom: There is a shared flush toilet close by and a hot shower.

Kitchen & Dining
There is a covered camping-style kitchenette, cold running water, sink, drainer, 2-ring cooker top (gas bottle for Hire) Table to seat 2 and an open fire pit for outdoor cooking.
Bedrooms
A small room with a single bunk. There is room for another single camp-bed, which can be hired.
Bathrooms
A short walk away is a flush toilet and hot shower (shared unless you have booked Pioneer Hutt too (Sleeps 5).
Outdoor Areas
Vast mountain and sea views. The Hamlet is an area exclusive to our visitors and the farm animals, and the wildlife that live there.
There is an uncovered deck, a small natural pond, and trees. Beyond the Hamlet is the Farm Yard (Animal Sanctuary) and the Hidden Valley. In all 400 acres of fun and kiwi back country beauty.

The farm is your entertainment to explore and enjoy at your own pace.
Our farm Sanctuary animals love human interaction. You can come a groom the ponies, and there are workshops available on request. (A fee applies)

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 30 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 30 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
House Rules
Guests enter the farm at their own risk.
Guests leave their belongings on the farm at their own risk. This includes vehicles
Cars must be parked in the designated area. Guests must not drive where it says “No Vehicle Access”
Guests of Guests must be signed in, and there is a daily Fee.
No Smoking or vaping on the property
Open fires must follow the local Fire Service advice.
Dogs are allowed by prior knowledge; there is a daily fee. Dogs will be assessed before being allowed off the lead. Conditions apply
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
