Tāhunanui

Tāhunanui accommodation sits behind Nelson’s main swimming beach, a long shallow curve of sand that warms up early and stays flat at low tide.

Baches and holiday homes here stand a few streets back from the reserve, with the dunes and the playground between them and the water. Back Beach, around the point, faces the open bay and picks up wind the main beach misses. Nelson city centre is a few minutes over the hill.
