Masterton

Masterton is the Wairarapa’s main town, and its accommodation sits between the Tararua Range and the road out to Castlepoint.

A cottage on the river flats outside town gives you paddocks and quiet, with the shops a short drive away. The Holdsworth road end leads into Tararua Forest Park, Aratoi covers the district’s art and history, and each March the Golden Shears brings the shearing world to town.
