Tucked away in a private, peaceful setting, this beautifully appointed cabin offers stunning views over a serene valley and out to the sea beyond. It’s a place to unwind, reconnect, and breathe — surrounded by birdsong, bush, and big skies.
The cabin sits in total seclusion, yet it’s just a 10-minute drive to the beach, cafés, restaurants, and shopping. Step outside and explore the bush track that winds through native trees, home to a rich variety of birdlife — tūī, kererū, fantails, kingfishers, and more.
Inside, the cabin is light, airy, and comfortable, equipped with a queen-sized bed, reading lamps, and seating for two. Large doors open wide to the valley view, screened by a full-width retractable insect screen so you can enjoy the sounds and scents of nature without being bothered by bugs. Air conditioning keeps the space cool in summer and cosy in winter, creating a calm haven no matter the weather.
Emerge from the cabin onto a covered deck, and sit at the breakfast bar with some wine and nibbles to enjoy while admiring the view.
Behind the cabin you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, complete with sink, cooktop, and fridge. There’s a toilet and gas-heated shower — simple, stylish, and perfectly in tune with the outdoor setting.
Wake to the dawn chorus, watch the sun rise over the sea, and sip your morning coffee as mist lifts from the valley. Spend your days walking, swimming, or simply relaxing in complete privacy.

Well-equipped outdoor style kitchen with twin gas cookers, sink, and fridge. Crockery, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils all provided.
A breakfast bar with two stools is available on the deck in front of the cabin whee you can enjoy breathtaking views.
Bedrooms
Studio cabin with queen-sized bed, and seating for two. Bedside reading lamps are provided, as is a full door length insect screen and an airconditioner.
Bathrooms
Two recycled IBC-tank cubicles are provided, one with toilet and one with a shower, fed by a gas-fired califont.
Outdoor Areas
Besides the serenity of the cabin, guests are invited to explore the bush track on the proerty accessed at the edge of the cabin setting.
The host’s spa pool is available for guest use for an extra charge.

A TV and DVD player are available for guest use on request, together with a large selection of movies.
Nearby
In the Papamoa Hills only 20 minutes form the Tauranga CBD. The property is surrounded by natural bush with a large variety of native birdlife including wood pigeons, tui, fantails, finches, rosellas, quails, owls, and kingfishers. Just a few km away there is a bush walk to the Kaiate falls and one to the top of the Papamoa Hills. The Papamoa beach is only ten minutes drive away.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 3 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 3 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
House Rules
No smoking or vaping in the cabin or on the deck please. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
