You’ll need a car to reach us, with the final 2 km a gentle gravel road—easily managed in any 2WD. The drive adds to the sense of escape, and for EVs a charging station is just 10 km away in Athol.
Kitchen & Dining
A fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, and extractor fan. We provide all cookware, dining essentials, and pantry basics such as herbs and seasonings. While there’s no oven, guests are welcome to use the outdoor Weber BBQ at any time. Each stay also includes a complimentary light continental breakfast.

Garston is a rural area, so there are no shops or restaurants right on the doorstep. Just 2 km away you’ll find the famous Coffee Bomb for great coffee and snacks. In nearby Athol (10 km) the popular Athol Café opens daily and also serves dinner several nights a week. Heading 15 minutes north toward Queenstown, Kingston offers the historic Kingston Flyer pub and a local corner shop for basic supplies.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 14 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 14 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
House Rules
We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy, and pets are not permitted. To help us maintain a clean, comfortable environment, we kindly ask guests to remove their shoes indoors. Out of respect for others and the setting, please also keep noise to a minimum—so everyone can enjoy the absolute peace and quiet this place is known for.
