The Flax Pod Cabin with amazing sea views
Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a covered deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, sink into a quirky hot tub and soak up the sea views. Its in a great location and a great base to explore Golden Bay from. Enjoy getting back to the basics, dozing in a hammock, a friendly weka or two and a spectacular night sky.

Shower and toilet unit on the deck. Its a composting toilet which we work hard on to not smell.

Enjoy a home-made hot tub which is actually a repurposed chest freezer heated by solar and wood fire. It’s quirky and fun and just as relaxing as the flash ones.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 14 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 14 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
