Lemon Tree Cottage
Lemon Tree Cottage is situated on a pretty 10acre lifestyle block in the sunny Bay of Plenty. Mature oak trees and natives create a lovely relaxed backdrop for your stay and are host to many birds including pheasants, kingfishers, quail and weka. Horses and sheep graze nearby. This property is home to the Godzone Valais Blacknose sheep flock. Lambs are born around September.
Please note there is an active train line across the road. They aren’t too noticeable but I have a no surprises policy 😉
Amenities:
Queen bed, microwave, toaster, gas stove/ oven, large kitchen area, fridge, shower, BBQ, outdoor furniture, heat pump, linen supplied, crockery etc.
Horses welcome by arrangement. Pens and hose for washing down available right next to cottage. Room to park float/ trucks.
Pets welcome by arrangement.

Thornton Beach – 18mins drive
Lake Rotoma – 23mins drive
Racecourse Park – Equestrian Events Centre – 4mins drive

Onepu Community Park – Mountain Bike and Walking trails – 5min drive
Please note the owner lives onsite with a small dog.
House Rules
Strictly no parties.
No animals permitted on the property without prior arrangement.
Smoking permitted outside only.
Late check-out by arrangement.
BBQ must be left clean after use please and thank you. A cleaning fee of $30.00 will be applied if it has not been cleaned ready for the next guests.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times please to keep livestock/ chickens safe. You will be asked to leave immediately if your dog is caught off lead worrying stock. The person who made the booking will be liable for any losses or vet bills incurred as the result of dog attacks.
Pets must not be left unattended.
Please do not enter paddocks for your own safety. Do not feed the animals.
Children on the property must be supervised at all times. There is a large deep pond on the property as well as stock water troughs which can be drowning hazards.
Some fences are electric – please take care.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 3 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 3 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
