Lakeview's On Richmond
Lakeview’s on Richmond is an elevated one bedroom apartment with sweeping views across Two Mile Bay to Acacia Bay and the surrounding mountains. Start the day with coffee on your private balcony, then unwind in the spacious upstairs lounge and dining area with a self-contained kitchen, heat pump and air conditioning for year-round comfort. Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace are also provided, making it easy to mix work and getaway time. The internal garage area is for you to use if you have a small to medium size car along with shared laundry and storage facilities located within the garage. We are owner occupied living in the downstairs of the main house. We offer you complete independence and privacy within your stay and are available for anything you need help with.
The location is a standout feature: you’re approximately 400 metres from Lake Taupō, Two Mile Bay boat ramp, and lakeside bike and walking tracks. Within walking distance you’ll also find Two Mile Bay Sailing Club, Ploughman’s Restaurant & Bar, The Fish Box for classic Kiwi takeaway, and Richmond Superette & Liquor Store. Close by is Kokomea Villiage, shops and Woolworths supermarket. The Landing complex is nearby with Mavericks Gastro Pub and Restaurant, The Dropzone indoor entertainment, Outdoor mini golf and The Cave (virtual-reality (experiences).
A short 5-minute drive along the beautiful Lake Terrace waterfront brings you to central Taupō’s shops, cafés and restaurants, while the Local Taupō Connector bus stops right outside the property and runs to town, Pak’nSave, The Warehouse, a medical centre and the hospital. Taxis and Uber provide additional transport options, and guests have easy self check-in via lockbox, plus off-street parking for up to two vehicles.

The upstairs level includes a self-contained kitchen alongside a spacious lounge and dining area. The lounge has a heat pump/air conditioning to keep the space comfortable year-round, and there is Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace for guests who need to work during their stay.

A BBQ is available on request, and an outdoor umbrella is provided during the summer season. The property is walking distance to the lake, boat ramp,lakeside bike/walking tracks, 2 Mile Bay Sailing Club, Ploughmans English Restaurant & Bar and the Fish Box Takeway.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 30 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 30 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
House Rules
Check-in is from 2:00 pm and checkout is by 10:00 am. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 2 guests. Pets are not allowed. Guests need to be comfortable using internal stairs. Quiet hours 10.00pm to 7.00am. No Smoking. No commercial photography. Visitor cars cannot park on the property. Only paying guests can stay on the property. Off-street parking is available for up to two vehicles – please let us know in advance if you’re bringing extra cars or a trailer.
Kitchen Hygiene: For the comfort on our incoming guests it would be very much appreciated if you can refrain from cooking Aromatic & Ethnic Food this includes Fish, Seafood, Curries & strong spices.

Access is via lockbox through the garage and up an internal stairwell, and guests must be comfortable climbing stairs.
