The queen-sized bed, with hotel-quality white linen and soft pillows, offers a restful sleep. Fresh toweling, robes, slippers, and Ashley & Co body & hair care products set the scene for relaxation.
Hand worked Macrocarpa timber, vaulted ceilings and an ornamental stone fireplace create a warm ambiance in the space.
The suite has views everywhere you look. Wake up to panoramic views through the four meter long bay window in front of the bed, or enjoy a spa bath with mountain views.
Relax in the hot tub, watch the sunset, and the 180 degree view of the starlit sky above you.
The spacious ensuite bathroom contains everything you need to indulge your senses. Featuring a spa bath with natural mineral salts, a walk in shower, an an infrared sauna, and vanity stocked with all the essential toiletries for a comfortable stay.
Step out the door onto your own north-facing patio, and take in the expansive views to the mountains and ocean beyond. An outdoor couch & coffee table provide the perfect spot for drinks or coffee with a view.
A coffee & tea station is equipped with a coffee plunger, fresh coffee grinds, a selection of teas, an electric kettle & mini fridge. A selection of plates, cutlery, glassware, are provided to enjoy snacks or light meals from the comfort of your room.
For those fully embracing ‘relax’ mode, breakfast & grazing plates can be ordered by request for your room.
Later in the evening, when the sky is dark, head outside for stargazing with cushions and rugs and enjoy 180 degrees of the night sky.
Other details to note:
The guest suite has its own entry & is attached to the main home where I reside along with 3 resident cats and a friendly miniature schnauzer dog named Maverick. Your privacy is my priority, so please make yourselves at home & enjoy your stay. The animals are very friendly and love to say hello to guests.

In addition to hosting, I am also a registered marriage celebrant and can provide intimate ceremonies for guests who wish to elope, renew their vows, or celebrate a special occasion during their stay. Kitchen & Dining
A coffee & tea station is equipped with a coffee plunger, fresh coffee grinds, a selection of teas, an electric kettle & mini fridge. A selection of plates, cutlery, glassware, are provided to enjoy snacks or light meals from the comfort of your room.
There are no cooking facilities available, but if you have a gas cooker or BBQ these may be used on your patio area.

Located in the wardrobe are a hairdryer, iron & ironing board, hot tub towels.
For your comfort there is a ceiling fan and air conditioning.

The spacious ensuite bathroom contains everything you need to indulge your senses. Featuring a jacuzzi bath with natural mineral salts, a walk in shower, an an infrared sauna, and vanity stocked with all the essential toiletries for a comfortable stay.
Outdoor Areas
Outside your room is a private patio with outdoor couch and coffee table. Perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine.
The outdoor hot tub has views over the Tasman Bay and is the perfect place to relax after a busy day and stargaze.
You are welcome to wander the gardens and enjoy the friendly ducks and chickens, feed Percy the lamb, or simply have a picnic and relax.

Your room has a selection of games, books, puzzles and brochures about local sightseeing and activities.
Nearby
The Moutere has many vineyards to sample and most are within a 15 minute drive. My favourites are Neudorf, Gravity Cellars, Moutere Hills & Flaxmore Vineyard. NZ’s oldest pub The Moutere Inn and a historic village is only minutes away. Head to Mapua Wharf for restaurants, gorgeous galleries and the local weekend market. In summer, Moutere strawberries is a must visit for an icecream blended with fresh berries of your choice. or visit the white sand Kaiteriteri beach. The Abel Tasman National Park offers beautiful walking tracks, kayaking, scenic boat tours, paddle boarding, and Eco-tours, to name a few.

Your room contains a private infrared sauna & a jacuzzi bath.
Outside, the hot tub is a peaceful spot to relax after a busy day.
House Rules
This is a non smoking property.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am.
It would be appreciated if shoes were not worn inside. The suite has luxury carpet, and being rural there are things outside we don’t want to bring inside.
The property is unsuitable for children under 12 years of age due to health and safety concerns. This is a working property with machinery, animals and unfenced water and heights.
The hot tub is available for use from 7am until 11pm. Please shower before use, and replace the cover after use.
Please do not take the indoor furniture outside, and items provided in the suite are not to be removed from the property
Safety Features
The property has smoke alarms and there is a first aid kit in the room.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 14 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 14 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
