This listing is for the three upstairs bedrooms only (king, queen and two singles). However, this house can sleep 7 – 10 guests on request. Please note, for your comfort and privacy, the downstairs bedrooms will never be rented at the same time as an upstairs only booking.
This airy and spacious home is nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac 5-10mins drive from Tāhunanui beach and the city centre. The generous bedroom, living and outdoor spaces offer guests the perfect opportunities for socialising or quiet time as they soak in the semi-rural views. With board games, puzzles and toys for the kids, parents can join in or soak in the sun on one of three expansive decks. Throw open the doors to multiple outdoor spaces and let the summery Nelson air flow through the generous living and bedroom spaces. The modern bathroom boosts two adjustable shower heads, while the king sized master bedroom and an ensuite with 1800mm bath and mountain. Like the king bedroom, the queen sized bedroom also opens onto a large deck. The twin room offers a single bed and trundler with stunning views of the Grampians and accompanying ranges. Ample living space upstairs mean groups can connect or find private spaces to enjoy. Use it as a base to explore local walking tracks, The Great Taste Trail, mountain biking tracks then rest your joints in the 1800mm bath overlooking the Grampians in the master bedroom ensuite. Alternatively, wander the Nelson Saturday Morning Market for local crafts and food, or enjoy the excellent evening dining scene. Follow the sun between three generous decks or retreat inside and snuggle up in front of Netflix in one of the shared living spaces. Two bathrooms offer generous water pressure, the downstairs shower boasts adjustable settings on the shower head.
With board games and toys available there is plenty of space in the bedrooms and living room to sprawl out and share some family time.
For the pre-schoolers, pack your scooters and small bikes because the back deck offers a generous space for outdoor play.

Guest access
Nestled in the hills overlooking Nelson city, enjoy access to the whole 611msq section. The two main bedrooms have access through the home and externally from either the main deck (key not provided). The single is only accessible only inside the home. Check in is after 3pm using an electronic door lock. Check out is 10am and late check-outs may incur an additional fee.

Other things to note
Please note that external security cameras are operating to help us ensure security and confirm guest numbers. Extra guests will incur an additional fee. There are 2 – 3 carparks available down the driveway, and extra parking out on the cul-de-sac. Please do not park in front of the neighbour’s garage or on the paved, shared driveway above the house. Although linen change, cleaning and servicing of the home are covered by your fee, please use the check out guide in the home to check what is required to leave the home tidy, along with rubbish and recycling days (Tuesday OR Thursday nights depending on the bins used).


Kitchen & Dining

A modern kitchen with oven, range, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Cookware, crockery and utensils are provided along with a picnic set and other items that can be borrowed for a day out. There is a breakfast bar with USB charging ports and a dining table in the living room.

Bedrooms

The king bedroom includes an ensuite with an 1800mm bath and private toilet. A sliding door also opens to the home’s largest decking area. The queen bedroom also opens onto the largest deck. There is a twin room upstairs with two single beds, the aesthetic was designed with our primary aged son in mind, but is perfectly comfortable for guests of all ages.

Bathrooms

The upstairs bathroom includes a shower with reliable water pressure, toilet and vanity. The ensuite in the master bedroom contains a private toilet and an 1800mm bath with views of the Grampians mountain range.

Outdoor Areas

The garden area is still under development but the generous decking offers plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy the mountain and city views.

Entertainment

Prime is available television. There are plenty of kids toys and games on the shelf as you enter and in the cupboard around the corner from the dining table in the living room.

Nearby

The Great Taste Trail, paddle boarding at Tāhunanui Beach, wineries, various cycling and running trails, 30mins drive to Lee or Aniseed Valley swimming holes. There is an excellent dining culture in Nelson including Hawker House, The Boat Shed, Nicola’s Mexican Cantina and Ikko Sushi.

Luxury Amenities

There is an 1800mm bath overlooking the Grampians mountain range. It is located in the ensuite of the king bedroom.



House Rules

No parties and quiet hours are from 11pm – 8am. The house is double-glazed and insulated so a reasonable level of music and sound in the house won’t bother our neighbours, just no speakers on the deck after 11pm.
Guests are responsible for leaving the home clean and tidy. There are security cameras over the driveway and on the rear deck (facing away from the glass doors to the house). These are for guest security and to monitor guest numbers, extra guests will incur an extra charge.

Safety Features

There are fire alarms in every bedroom. In the unlikely event the alarms should go off without a fire in the house, please twist gently to remove. We will update batteries if there are any issues.


Booking Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their booking up to 7 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 7 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
