Listing Terms & Conditions

These Listing Terms (“Terms”) govern the creation, management, and display of property listings on Bookably (“we,” “our,” “us”). By listing a property on our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Listing Terms

By submitting a property listing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Accuracy of Listings

Hosts must provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information about their properties.
Photos, descriptions, and amenities must accurately reflect the property’s condition and features.
Hosts must list accurate safety features, including the availability of fire alarms and poisonous gas detectors at the property.
Misleading or false information may result in listing removal.

3. Pricing and Availability

Hosts are responsible for setting accurate pricing and availability.
Listings must reflect all applicable fees, including cleaning fees, taxes, and additional charges.
Any changes to pricing or availability must be updated promptly.

4. Compliance with Laws

Hosts must comply with all applicable local laws, regulations, and permit requirements.
Hosts confirm that their properties have been built in accordance with New Zealand laws and contain all relevant certifications.
Hosts are responsible for maintaining an accurate representation of their property on an ongoing basis.
Bookably is not responsible for ensuring hosts’ compliance with legal obligations.

5. Listing Removal

Bookably reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove or suspend listings that violate these Terms.
Reasons for removal may include, but are not limited to, inaccurate information, guest complaints, policy violations, legal non-compliance, or fraudulent activity.

6. Guest Communication

Hosts must provide timely and professional communication with guests.
Hosts must share accurate check-in instructions and respond to guest inquiries promptly.

7. Prohibited Listings

Listings must not include illegal, unsafe, or misleading accommodations.
Subletting or unauthorized third-party listings are prohibited.
Listings that promote discrimination or violate ethical guidelines will be removed.
Properties must not contain illegal substances or firearms.

8. Property Verification

Bookably may offer property verification at an additional cost.
Verified properties will receive a verification mark on their listing to indicate they have been reviewed.
Verification does not guarantee the quality or safety of the property but confirms that certain details have been checked.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Bookably is a marketplace and does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of listings.
Hosts are solely responsible for any claims, disputes, or liabilities related to their property listings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
