The living area serves as the heart of the home, complete with comfortable furnishings. On cooler evenings, the freestanding fireplace creates a cosy ambiance, complemented by a wall-mounted heat pump for year-round temperature control.
The well-equipped kitchen has a retro element to it along with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and tea making facilities. The double glass doors open directly onto a paved outdoor patio, perfect for summer dining.
The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests across two thoughtfully presented bedrooms. One bedroom is configured with two king single beds while the other has a queen sized bed. The home also includes an original bathroom layout with a separate toilet and a dedicated laundry area complete with a modern washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing board, outdoor drying line and utility sink for your convenience.
Kitchen & Dining
From the lounge/dining room area through a classic 80s brick archway, the kitchen comes well equipped and also has the requisite dishwasher, microwave, and coffee-making facilities. The sunny front patio is a great place to dine during the summer months.
Bedrooms
Two quiet bedrooms sleep up to four guests in comfort. The first room offers a queen bed, while the second bedroom features two king single beds with 100% cotton sheets and a choice of wool or feather bed coverings.
Bathrooms
The cottage features one bathroom with its original layout, a glass-enclosed shower and a retro vanity. A separate toilet adds convenience for guests, while the adjacent laundry area includes a washing machine/dryer combined and utility sink. Fresh towels and basic toiletries are provided for your stay.
Outdoor Areas
The concrete/paved patio is bordered by fresh plantings and lavender bushes. This outdoor space offers a quiet spot to soak up the Central Otago sunshine with distant hill views.
Entertainment
A selection of books and games is tucked away in the lounge wooden cabinet. Cosy built-in window seats with plush cushions and soft throws provide the ultimate spots to curl up with a good book in the sun. There is WiFi but no TV, so it’s BYO device.

Step back in time and immerse yourself in local history with a leisurely stroll to the lakeside Cromwell Heritage Precinct, where you can explore beautifully restored buildings, boutique shops, and Lake Dunstan trails. Great coffee is available there too! If you fancy an active afternoon, the Cromwell Golf Club is only a ten-minute walk away. Alternatively, hire a bike and explore the nearby bike trails or vineyards.

1) Sorting rubbish and recycling is a big thing in Cromwell. There are numerous coloured bins down the side of the house and instructions in the house manual if this is unfamiliar to you.
2) No private parties or extra guests (4 max guests).
3) No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes allowed on the property.
4) Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am

8) Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Booking Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their booking up to 7 full days before check-in to receive a full refund of the booking amount. Cancellations made less than 7 full days before check-in are non-refundable. The 3% bank payment fee is non-refundable in all cases.
